My bio

I teach at Victorville Parks and Recreation and privately in my home or yours. In Group lessons we work on harmonies and many vocal fundamentals. Our students perform in 2-3 recitals per year and participate in community performances as we are invited, including the San Bernardino County Fair. You can find U-Be-Singin' on Facebook!

I have been teaching voice lessons for 15 years, both private and group. I have performed in several choirs, musicals and plays, and studied music/voice/performance in college.

My students have received many different awards and won and placed in several major competitions as well as being placed in art colleges by audition. Some of their achievements have been, Inland Empire Idol (winner), High Desert Idol (winner, 2nd place, and 7th place) Apple Valley Idol (4 1st place winners and one 2nd), American Idol Auditions, THE VOICE Auditions, Art Institute acceptance, Pageant winners, local and school talent competitions and more. Some of my students are in bands, some sing at church, school choirs, pageants, talent shows, or just want to improve their vocal skills. I will work with church groups at a group rate if interested.

I teach confidence, vocal projection, healthy voice use, expression and nearly all styles of music, for example: Jazz, Rock, Country, Opera, Gospel, Broadway, Folk, R & B, and more.
