Hi! I am a student at Fivetowns college who has had consistent scholarships. Music is my passion and I look to share the fullest understanding of it with the student. I don't focus just on repertoire but look to take away the mystery and ambiguity of playing the violin. There are definite techniques in accordance with the physics of the hand and violin that will improve the student's sound. My goal is to pass on a level of understanding of the violin to allow the student to be prepared for any piece of music- that is, they will know how to stylistically approach any piece and know what techniques should be applied. By having the most control over the violin the student will be able to fully express themselves. I'm also well versed in music theory from classical to jazz and am an electronic composer- I pass on an understanding of what's behind the music the student is playing. I look to give my fullest attention to every student and tailor every lesson to their needs.
